In this workshop, children will have the opportunity to learn all about pH levels through exciting experiments. They will carry out real experiments by measuring the pH levels of different substances found around us. The children will also get to make a colorful lava lamp.
The workshop is inspired by a story by Anh Ngoc Bui about Bolla, Tóta, and Maggi, who use their knowledge of science to create amazing inventions. Anh will give a presentation about her book, followed by the science workshop.
Anh Ngoc is a student at Kvennaskólinn in Reykjavík. She is the founder of STEM for the Future, a project that aims to spark young people’s interest in technology and STEM subjects.
The workshop is for children ages 5–12, and registration is required. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Free admission!
Creativity, learning, and adventure all rolled into one!
