Simple Things returns to Bristol in 2026 for its twelfth edition, bringing together boundary-pushing music and contemporary culture for another city-wide celebration of discovery.

On Saturday 7 November, the multi-venue festival once again takes over some of Bristol’s most iconic spaces, uniting the city for one unforgettable day and night across Bristol Beacon, Strange Brew, Rough Trade, Sportsmans and new venue Shredenhams.

For the first time, Simple Things will feature guest curators, each performing and shaping their own part of the line-up. Squid, Shabaka, Jeremy Deller and Cobrah, with their curated line-ups still to be announced. Leading the second wave of announcements are this year’s very special guests The Avalanches. The pioneering Australian duo make their long-awaited return to Bristol for the first time in almost a decade, bringing their unmistakable blend of sample-driven, genre-defying music to Simple Things 2026. Also joining the line-up are Hannah Diamond, Alewya, Panda Bear & Sonic Boom, Moor Mother, Nathan Fake, caroline, Chanel Beads, Cloud Nothings, Lord Spikeheart, Mykki Blanco and more..
