Brighton’s seminal Mutations Festival returns Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th October 2026 for its eighth edition.
Friday at Mutations sees the undefinable, undeniable, raucous FAT DOG joined by: Squid, Working Men’s Club, Basht., Bdrmm, Lip Critic, Theatre, Insecure Men, and many, many more.
Saturday at Mutations sees Beastie Boys alumni MIKE D make a rare live performance in the UK, joined by: Dove Ellis, Alex Cameron, Panic Shack, Unkle Sounds, the north, Warhaus, and many, many more.
This year’s festival features over 100 of the most exciting international breakthrough and established artists performing across 10 of Brighton’s most beloved Grassroots Music Venues. It’s Mutations’ most ambitious and exciting edition yet!
Renowned for consistently showcasing ’the next big thing’, from CMAT, Yard Act and Sprints in 2021; to The Last Dinner Party, Wunderhouse and Fat Dog in 2022; English Teacher, Antony Szmierek and Paris Paloma in 2023; Kneecap, Arooj Aftab and Adult DVD in 2024; to Keo and Big Special in 2025; Mutations Festival 2026 will be no exception!
Mutations Festival is a multi-venue, single wristband event. Your ticket gains you access to all venues (subject to individual venue capacities).
Reduced price ‘Under 25’s tickets are available, age proof ID will be required for collection at Wristband exchange for this ticket type.

Alex CameronAlex Cameron has always been a great storyteller, finding his ways into the depths of the places where not many others are looking, and Oxy Music continues on that trajectory. It’s filled with stories of people who fall outside the system and exist in the grey areas of life. In its design - its music, lyrics and tracklist - lies the journey a person can take, if the circumstances present themselves - down the road of heavy drug and alcohol abuse. Initially inspired by Nico Walker’s Cherry, Cameron was spurred into yet another commentary on American Life, this time about the opioid crisis that has taken over the country. He says about Oxy Music: “The album is a story, a work of fiction, mostly from the perspective of a man. Starved of meaningful purpose, confused about the state of the world, and in dire need of a reason to live - a person can, and according to the latest statistics, increasingly will, turn to opioids. This is one of those people.” While Oxy Music could be dark, it’s instead brighter and more buoyant than much of Cameron’s previous work, a shift in mood first seen across 2019’s Miami Memory. It’s told from a place of optimism and through the lens of Cameron, in the way that only he can tell it. -

TTSSFUTTSSFU (pronounced phonetically: “T-T-S-S-F-U”) manages to conjure enormous atmospheric worlds using just GarageBand in their bedroom. The DIY shoegazer deftly combines the eeriness of The Cure with the fast BPM of The Strokes and The Drums: most recently on her latest EP ‘Me, Jed and Andy,’ which TTSSFU produced, mixed, and mastered themselves, and features “Studio 54”.
Already this year TTSSFU has played a string of festival dates including Green Man, Bristol Sounds, and Manchester Psych Fest, and supported Soccer Mommy and Mannequin Pussy across their UK tours. Their debut EP continues to pick up organic traction, led by single “I Hope You Die” which is already nearing 1M plays on YouTube. This November, TTSSFU will support English Teacher on their upcoming UK tour before a busy 2025 as they prepare another EP and a debut album.
