After half a century on the road and bringing the “Garden Party” to 50 countries, Mezzoforte are celebrating their 50th anniversary at Háskólabíó in Reykjavík on Saturday, 18 September 2027 at 20:00, joined by a fantastic line-up of special guests.
What began with four young musicians in Reykjavík in 1977 grew into an international musical adventure. Mezzoforte broke through in 1983 with “Garden Party,” reaching No. 17 on the UK Singles Chart. Their infectious melodies, driving funk grooves and sheer joy in playing have earned them fans around the world ever since.
Now it’s time to celebrate this milestone at home. Join us for an anniversary party marking five decades of music!
